Ok, I'm an idiot. After sleeping on it, I realized how my suggestion was unnecessary. You're absolutely right by saying the current macro system should do what I suggested in a new mult-keystroke option.

Just credit the bad suggestion to brainstorming while being up too late and tired.

Your suggestion for the macro work around was a good one. I set the initial interval to instantaneous and the other to 0.25 between keystrokes, and put "11" in the text field, and now it double taps 1 fast enough to fling batarangs in combat.

I guess my concern was when using a macro there's no way to select the duration a key is pressed. You can set the pause between keys, but if the keystrokes are instantaneous sometimes the game won't register a key press.

By the way, the game is pretty excellent. It's more of the same of Arkham City, but I don't see this as a bad thing.
